REALTOR.ca Canada Inc.’s relationship with your REALTOR® and Board/Association MLS® Systems 

When you work with a REALTOR®, your property listing may be added to a local Board’s/Association’s MLS® System. Find out more information on what exactly an MLS® System is.

Information on properties listed for sale on Board MLS® Systems may then be provided to REALTOR.ca Canada Inc. by Boards/Associations for display on REALTOR.ca, the Data Distribution Facility (REALTOR.ca DDF®), and other related services. While such information pertains to real property, some aspects of the information (e.g. Sale Price) may be considered Personal Information. The collection, use and disclosure of such information is governed by the applicable Board’s privacy policy and listing agreement. We use this information for display on REALTOR.ca, REALTOR.ca DDF®, and other related services, and for general market research and analysis purposes. 

Information from other sources

To complement information displayed on REALTOR.ca property pages, we may collect information from a variety of third party sources including publicly accessible databases. For example, we may display property tax assessment information obtained under license from Statistics Canada or PVSC. Although this information is about the property, it may still be viewed as Personal Information. By allowing your property to be displayed on REALTOR.ca, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of publicly accessible information in accordance with our privacy policies.

Third Party Storage
