Three REALTORS® Share Insights on Brand Authenticity, Value, and Reputation

Listen to their conversation on the latest episode of the REAL TIME podcast.

The brand you build as a REALTOR® is what sets you apart, it’s also helpful to demonstrate your value to both clients and peers.

So how do you build a brand that exudes authenticity?

On episode 60 of the REAL TIME podcast, three members of the REALTOR® community, Greg Hamre, Tony Joe, and Angie Vazquez, share how their unique brand helps lay a solid foundation for their professional reputation.

For REALTORS®, having a strong, distinct brand can not only help you stand out from the crowd and make a good first impression, but it can also help you build your reputation.

The episode, The Working REALTOR®: Brand Authenticity, Value, and Reputation, started off by hearing how each of our three guests would describe their brand.

Greg Hamre

Hamre cites two main pillars for his business. First, they’re a generational practice with three generations in the Ottawa real estate market. Second, they love their city, Ottawa, Ontario, and promoting why they think it’s a great place to live and work, and what kind of lifestyle the city has to offer.

Angie Vazquez

Operating in Squamish, British Columbia, Vazquez cites "story" as her brand. More specifically, her life story. In a small town like Squamish, with only 24,000 people, she says its easy to feel like a celebrity with billboards and bus shelters.

On her own story, though, she shared how her Mexican heritage is what makes her unique, introducing her culture to her community through salsa dance events and Mexican cuisine, and that has ultimately been an asset in defining herself and her brand.

Tony Joe

Joe echoes what Hamre and Vazquez said, adding that part of his brand is what people think of when his name is mentioned. Furthermore, he says that brand is a pledge to your future clients of what only you can offer. Where marketing budgets can always be beaten, a good brand stands for itself.

Now, what’s your strategy?

Throughout this 75-minute conversation, our three guests share so many valuable insights, and a few fun anecdotes, to help other REALTORS® clarify and build their own brand strategy.
