Georges E. Gaucher started his career in consumer package goods before joining Royal LePage as Vice-President responsible for corporate offices in Eastern Canada. He’s now General Manager of Royal LePage Village, a full-service brokerage agency with five offices and more than 150 agents. He joined the Greater Montreal Real Estate Board’s Board of Directors in July of 2017 and also sits on the Audit Committee and on the Board of Directors of the Collège de l’immobilier du Québec, which is the largest real estate school in Quebec. Prior to joining the Montreal board, Georges was a Director of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), the province’s real estate regulatory body for three years and chaired the Ethics and Governance Committee. He has been a member of L’Ordre des administrateurs agréés du Québec as a Certified Administrator since 1996. Improving the public’s perception of the real estate profession, continuing the promotion of the REALTOR® brand by keeping the services offered to REALTORS® best in class and continuing training are some of his priorities while working on CREA’s board.
